Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems

You can't just throw water on a grease fire. You need to eliminate the fuel source and smother the flames in order to get a kitchen fire under control. The Restaurant Fire Suppression System is an automatic, pre-engineered, fire suppression system designed to protect areas associated with cooking equipment.  The use of a wet-chemical suppression system is limited to indoor applications and meets the UL 300 requirements.  These systems are both automatic and manual tripped to provide protection of your business and employees.

JDH Inspections LLC inspects Wet Chemical suppression systems that are UL 300 compliant because a dry chemical system or a system that does not comply with the UL 300 standard may pose an immediate and serious safety concern for your establishment.

All kitchen fire suppression systems manufactured after 1994 must comply with the UL 300 standards to account for increased commercial cooking times and temperatures. Dry chemical kitchen systems have been replaced with wet systems to accommodate hotter and longer cooking times.
